Hong Kong Scouts hold joint activities with youth in China

It was a significant event for the Scout Association of Hong Kong (SAHK) as they conduct joint Scouting activities with young people in China, in Scout uniform, in Tiananmen Square, Beijing, China on 18th July 2010. SAHK International Commissioner Alex Wong led the Scout delegation.

The 13th World Scout Moot opens officially in Kenya

NAIROBI, 28 July 2010 – After many months of preparation, the 13th World Scout Moot officially kicked off in Nairobi, at Rowallan Scout Camp. A colourful ceremony that was graced by the President of the Republic of Kenya, H.E. Mwai Kibaki, signaled the beginning of the 10-day long event.

Final preparations are taking place to welcome around 1,300 young people to the 13th World Scout Moot in Kenya.

The Moot will take place at Rowallan Campsite, situated in Ngong forest near the centre of Nairobi. Rowallan campsite is home to both the national office of the Kenya Scouts Association and the Africa Regional Office of the World Scout Bureau.

CNV cites Hong Kong Scouts sound financial base

At the two-day Committee NSO Visit (CNV) held at the Hong Kong Scout Centre on 23-24 July, the Scout Association of Hong Kong (SAHK) has proven itself as a well-managed Scout association and a leading youth organization in Hong Kong. Key leaders of SAHK comprised of Chief Commissioner Anthony Chan, International Commissioner Alex Wong, Deputy Chief Commissioners and other Commissioners made comprehensive reports and led the meeting discussions. The visiting team was from the Regional Scout Committee namely First Vice-Chairman Prakorb Mukura, Dr Chao Shou-Po and Regional Director Abdullah Rasheed.

فى مظاهرة حب وتآخى اجتمع الكشافون العرب فى اليوم العربى وهو أحد المناشط الهامة فى التجمعات الكشفية الكبرى الذى ينتظره الكشافون والقادة معاً بل ويكون مادة إعلامية ناحجة لتقرير صورة الحركة الشكفية فهى تظهر الحركة الكشفية كأحد العوامل الهامة فى تجميع الأمة العربية وتقارب وجهات النظر بين أبنائها.

فى اليوم العربى والدولى افتتاح معارض 45 دولة عربية واجنبية يوم الثقافات والتقاليد الوطنية والفلكلور الشعبى.

تحت رعاية أ.د. صفى الدين خربوش رئيس المجلس القومى للشباب يفتتح اليوم بالمسرح الكبير بمدينة مبارك التعليمية معارض الدول المشاركة فى المخيم الكشفى العربى ال29 واللقاء الدولى لتبادل الثقافات والتعرف على الحضارات وعددهم 45 دولة عربية وأجنبية.

على الأرض الخضراء نصب الكشافون الخيام .. ملأهم السرور والسعادة لبناء بيوتهم فى الخلاء ها نحن على أرض أكاديمية أجياد للفروسية التى استضافت المخيمات الكشفية العربية مخيماً تلو الآخر .. كل مخيم يقضى فيه الكشافون يوماً وليلة .. كلها ممارسات كشفية ومهارات يتبارى فيها الكشافين .. محاطون بالجو العربى من رمال وقباب حتى الأثاث تم صنعه من جريد النخل والخشب فهو مكان بنى على البساطة لتشعر بالأريحية فى داخله.

Third Arab scouts leaders forum recommend creating scout groups for children working in difficult situations

The third Arab scouts leaders forum organized by the Arab scouts organization with the cooperation of the Arab board for child and development has ended up yesterday after discussing the role of the scouts movement in ending cruelty and harm against children.The event was attended by 25 leaders from Jordan, United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Oman, Qatar, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Mauritania and the general secretariat of the Arab scouts organization

اختتمت أمس فعاليات المنتدى الكشفى العربى الثالث للقادة الذى نظمته الأمانة العامة للمنظمة الكشفية العربية بالتعاون مع المجلس العربى للطفولة والتنمية الذى عقد لدراسة موضوع دور الحركة الكشفية فى الحد من العنف والأذى ضد الأطفال بمشاركة 25 قائد من جمعيات الأردن والإمارات وتونس والسعودية والسودان وسورية وسلطنة عمان وقطر لبنان، ليبيا، مصر، المغرب، موريتانيا، والأمانة العامة للمنظمة الكشفية العربية.

At the end of a busy afternoon attending different preparatory sessions and various network meetings, everybody left the Conference venue. It was time to celebrate.

Under the auspicious of His Excellency Dr. Safi Eddin Kharbush president of the national assembly for youth and with the presence of 556 attendants from 16 Arab countries so far, 36 Jordan, 24 United Arab Emirates, 55 Saudi Arabia, 40 Sudan, 30 Kuwait, 10 Morocco, 10 Yemen, 17 Tunis, 4 Syria, 13 Oman, 13 Palestine, 13 Qatar,15,Lebanon, 55 Libya, 139 Egypt, 3 Mauritania and 77 from the organizing committee Mubarak city for education witnessed the opening ceremony for the 29th Arab scout Jamboree and the 13th international cultul exchange gathering which will last for 15 days until 24 July 2010.

تحت رعاية معالى الدكتور/ صفى الدين خربوش رئيس المجلس القومى للشباب. أشرقت مدينة مبارك التعليم بالأمس بمشاركة (556) مشارك من 16 دولة عربية وحتى الآن فى المخيم الكشفى العربى التاسع والعشرون وهى: الأردن 36، الإمارات 24، السعودية 55، السودان 40، الكويت 30، المغرب 10، اليمن 10، تونس 17، سوريا 4، عمان 13، فلسطين 15، قطر 13، لبنان 15، ليبيا 55، مصر 139، موريتانيا 3، بالإضافة إلى 77 لجنة منظمة وقد تضمن برنامج الامس العديد المغامرات والمسابقات وأيضاً المعلومات ويستمر المخيم من 15 حتى 24 يوليو 2010.
